Effect of honey mixture therapy on obesity among adolescent girls residing in selected hostels

The present study was conducted to assess the effect of honey mixture therapy on obesity among adolescent girls. Objectives: Assess the degree of obesity among adolescent girls, Assess the effectiveness of honey mixture therapy on obesity among adolescent girls, Find the association between obesity and selected demographic variables of adolescent girls. Methodology: Quantitative approach was used for the study and a pre-experimental one-group pre-test post-test design was selected. This study was based on the Penders health promotion model. Data were collected from 30 obese adolescent girls residing in selected hostels at Perinthalmanna using a nonprobability purposive sampling technique. Semistructured interview schedules on sociodemographic data and physiological methods were used to obtain baseline pre-test measurements. Honey mixture therapy was administered for 45 days and post-test measurements were also collected. The data were analyzed and interpreted by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results; the mean post-BMI score (27.79) is less than the mean pretest score(28.20). The obtained t value is 0.85 and the p-value is 0.40. The mean difference is not statistically significant. The study also revealed that there is a significant association of obesity with the availability of pocket money. Conclusion; the study concluded that there is a nonsignificant reduction in BMI followed by administration of honey mixture therapy for a period of 45 days.

Prediction of future terrorist activities using Machine Learning algorithm

The exponential increase in internet users has led people to start using technology-based development for carrying out activities against the law. According to the studies made from previous knowledge and experiences it can be found out that, cyber terrorism puts out stress and anxiety, increases feelings of intrusion, threat and hardens the political frame of mind. Therefore, it is important to identify the fact that cyber terrorism has had a very awful and shocking effect on our society. Thus, With the use of a Machine learning model, it helps us to predict the possible future terrorist activities by detecting the instigating text messages in social network platforms. The proposed system aims to develop a method for of prediction of future terrorist activities using a machine learning algorithm that will help the system in detecting potential terrorist attacks and in providing safeguards and strengthening defense for required areas consequently lessens the loss of life and property. Along with that it also provides Fast detection to illegal activity, improving information accuracy. It has the ability to distinguish between instigating (terrorism-related) messages and non-instigation (non-terrorism-based) messages. This method also helps in identifying the user responsible for sending such messages and also recognize the specific messages and also shows the best machine learning algorithm that best fits and that can be used for prediction based on the accuracy analysis of the algorithms.

Inappropriate construction equipment delay factors a Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach

Construction equipment improvement is a trend in the market, and it has several advantages. Inappropriate construction equipment, on the other hand, creates delays in construction projects, harming the firm's reputation. A lot of studies on overall delay have been undertaken around the world. NonethelessHowever, there is a scarcity of studies on construction delays induced by inefficient construction equipment. The purpose of this article is to look into the reasons that cause construction equipment delays and how they affect the firm's reputation. The issues identified in the focus group interviews and the literature survey were used to create a report. To determine the impact of these factors on the progress of Indian building projects, a questionnaire survey was undertaken. The main constraint was that all 300 replies had to be gathered in person from building professionals in order to avoid skewed results. The positive strength of each factor's link was determined using Pearson correlation coefficients. To check if there was a significant difference between the respondents' firm categories, a t-test was utilized. The effective association between the causes of delays due to improper construction equipment and the effects on the company's reputation was validated using structural equation modeling (SEM). The improper construction equipment elements are associated among themselves and combined to influence the company's reputation, according to all of the components investigated by the SEM analysis. To overcome the ineffective equipment delay issues, recommendations are offered.

Remote locking system for secure examination using MQTT protocol

At every level of education in our system, we have to face examinations to check our knowledge on the curriculum exams designed on our domain basis. Frequently we have heard the news regarding the online exams question paper dropouts which will be a very bad drawback effect in the life of the students hence in our proposed system by using the Remote Locking system the Human intervention is completely removed thus it protects the examination paper dropouts at a maximum level. In the Remote locking system if the lock is released from the authenticated person, then only the paper can be taken printout for the conduction of the exam.

Development in pervious concrete by using the green concept

Pervious concrete or No fineness concrete is a conventional concrete that is used in foreign countries for draining stormwater and increasing the groundwater level. This project is mainly based on the investigation and increasing the strength characteristics of Pervious concrete. The mix design is designed considering only cement and coarse aggregate since the concrete is a “NO FINENESS CONCRETE”. The mix ratio is considered as 1:6 and the water-cement ratio is taken from 0.4-0.45. The admixtures are added in % of cement for Nano silica & % of concrete for polypropylene. The final outcome to be received is an increase in the strength of pervious concrete by improving their characteristics and make them utilized for Road pavements.
