Performance evaluation of non-hierarchical routing protocols for healthcare applications

All wireless sensor network (WSN) is a network of spatially distributed sensors that monitor physical or environmental characteristics. Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) is a subset of WSN. WBAN is a new technology that is gaining popularity these days, WBAN devices are critical in the process of health monitoring and patient monitoring. Routing protocols will play a critical role in improving the effectiveness of communication between nodes and increasing the lifetime of a WBAN. The development and study of WBAN routing protocols has become a popular research area in recent years, particularly for medical monitoring applications. The energy-aware and high lifetime of the network are important parameters in the patient monitoring, For Health care application requires a unique routing protocol to transmit the data to their intended destination. The different non-hierarchical routing protocols like RPL, CTP presented in this context, The existing algorithms cannot fully satisfy the application requirements. In this paper energy efficient and reliable routing protocol is proposed for healthcare applications, our proposed routing protocol improves the network lifetime and reduce the energy consumption by using a weighted method, we evaluated the performance of proposed routing protocol in various routing parameter and comparing with RPL, CTP routing scheme. the Experimental results shows that proposed routing protocol performs better when compare to other two routing scheme. It is the best replacement with existing methods.

Aura – Virtual Personal Assistant

Today, with the advancement of technology, virtual personal assistant plays important role in day-to-day life from searching information from the web to automating certain tasks. Various virtual personal assistants exist like Google Assistant, Siri, Cortana. Laika is one such text-based virtual assistant which can perform certain tasks. Laika is simple with a user-friendly interface and can perform simple tasks like making short notes, telling jokes, greetings, and suggest certain tasks. With the increasing popularity of Virtual Personal Assistants, the interaction between humans and their machines has increased significantly. This system can interact with humans and machines without being limited by their physical appearance or capabilities. This system is mainly used in various industries such as education, medical assistance, and home automation. Due to this, the concept of Virtual Personal Assistants has gained widespread acceptance.

Inductor coupled converter

This research work presents a high gain direct current–direct current (DC–DC) converter which is derived from a traditional boost converter. Distributed renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic (PV) modules, wind, and fuel cells are becoming possible alternatives. However, to connect these systems to the grid, reliable DC–DC boost converters with high voltage gain is becoming a requirement. Firstly, a new open-loop DC–DC boost converter with superior performance in terms of voltage step-up ratio and reduced voltage stress on the switches, compared to other existing high gain DC–DC boost converter counterparts is proposed. Along with analyzing the operation principle of the proposed converter. This converter can easily achieve a gain of 20 while benefiting from the continuous input current, effectively maintain the voltage output at the required level, closed loop dc-dc converter with Proportional–Integral-Differential (PID) controller, a multi-loop with Proportional–Integral (PI) was proposed and simulated. a charge controller was designed and operated along with closed loop dc-dc converter to supply load with two different voltage requirements. Based on the simulation results the proposed controller can maintain the output voltage at the required level with respect to the changes in load.

COVID-19 facemask and Social Distancing Detector

The world is facing a huge health crisis due to the rapid transmission of COVID-19. The World Health Organization (WHO) issued several guidelines for protection against the spread of coronavirus. The impact of COVID-19 has fallen on almost all sectors of development, mainly the healthcare system is going through a crisis. According to WHO, the most effective preventive measure against COVID-19 is wearing a mask and maintaining social distance in public places. This paper introduces face masks and social distancing detectors that can be used by the authorities to make mitigation, evaluation, prevention, and action planning against COVID-19 which is causing a health crisis. Detection of people who are not wearing masks and not maintaining social distance is a challenge due to the Outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic which has created various problems. This paper aims at explaining the design of a system that helps in solving the above issues, i.e detection of mask and social distance.

Review on Improving the capacity of black cotton soil by using different materials example bio-enzymes and bagasse ash, etc.

Soil is the main part of the foundation; it is very important to build a strong and durable structure. If soil is not stable then, there may cause the failure of the structure. In black cotton, the soil has a very low bearing capacity and high swelling and shrinkage characteristics it forms a very poor foundation, that cannot be affordable, India is the largest area occupied by black cotton soil. India is an agricultural country that comes in the top ten countries in the world it contributes many times through the agricultural field. India consists of 30-40% of Black cotton soil. Maharashtrian Western produces sugarcane on a large scale and bagasse formed by sugarcane. And to improve the strength of soil the stabilization (making more stable) of soil by conducting experiments on Black cotton soil by replacing bagasse ash (4%, 8%,12%,16%,20%). Another material mixed in black cotton soil is bio-enzyme (Terrazyme) with different dosages of 250ml/2m^3,250ml/1.5m^3,250ml/1m^3,250ml/0.5m^3 respectively. Due to this the strength of soil increases.
