Comparison of chromatographic method for quantitation of free protein

Chromatography is an important technique for the separation, identification, and purification of components of a mixture for qualitative and quantitative analysis. Protein can be quantitated based on the different properties such as shape and size, total charge and binding capacity. So the different types of the method were present to quantitate the protein. Like ion exchange chromatography (IEC), size exclusion chromatography (SEC), affinity chromatography and reverse phase chromatography. Also in SEC and IEC, we compare the different types of parameters like time, resolution, cost, temperature, detectors and resolution. So comparing these methods we decide that the size exclusion chromatography method was better than the ion exchange chromatography for quantitation of protein molecules.

Approach for shortest path in multiagent distributed scenario using AOMDV and tree topology

The work adds on the transferable belief model to a multiagent-distributed context using tree topology. An agent acting as nodes collect data independently using a graph with cycles. The cyclic structure describes the interaction among mobile units. Two different scenarios are considered: In the first one, agents provide data that do not change (static scenario), while in second case agent provide data that changes over time (dynamic scenario). For a dynamic scenario, it will use the value of a number of nodes to change the value and for the static scenario, it will keep one node fixed for routing by keeping source node fixed. A Cyclic Graph Algorithm is converged to the basic belief assignment based on the transferable belief model. The results are integrated and form four graphs to show the simulation results. The simulation results are obtained through NS2. TBM is used as an application in sensor networks our works adds on the transferable belief model to a multiagent-distributed context using tree topology. Wireless black box for accidental monitoring of vehicles using mems accelerometer and GPS tracking

This paper is to develop a MEMS accelerometer and GPS tracking system for accidental monitoring. The system consists of an accelerometer, microcontroller unit, GPS device and GSM module, Temperature sensor. Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) is a highly sensitive sensor and it indicates the position of an accident that is in which direction vehicle is tilted. When there is an accident, the Global System for Mobile (GSM) module will send SMS to the main server that is operating station and family member. the main server locates the accident spot, search the nearest hospital of that accidental area and give the information to the Ambulance driver about an Accident by using hospital unit so that the Ambulance will reach at the accident spot in time. Global Positioning System (GPS) is used to detect an accidental spot by using NMEA format and Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) Accelerometer is used to locate the tilted position of vehicle and give this information to the microcontroller, Microcontroller sends this information to the main server by using Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) Technology. Accidents have become a Big problem in Various countries and it happens because of drunk driving, riding with no helmet, riding without sufficient sleep, break problem of the vehicle, the clutch problem of the vehicle, etc. This project is about a system which is developed to automatically detect an accidental spot and give SMS to the main server and family member, the main server gives this information to the nearest ambulance driver by using hospital unit.

Hybrid routing protocol in Vehicular Ad-hoc Network

A vehicular ad-hoc network is a class of Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET), consisting of a network of vehicles, moving at a relatively high speed that communicate among themselves with different purposes. The wireless access in vehicular environment system has been developed to enhance driving safety and comfort of automotive users. The main drawback of VANET network is the network instability, which reduces the efficiency of the network. One of the major challenging issues in VANET is routing due to high mobility and dynamic topology change. Since the routing protocol decides how better the communication occurs among the vehicles, the design of the routing protocol is very important. There are some well-known VANET routing protocol like AODV (Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing Protocol), DSR (Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) Protocol), OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) Protocol), GPSR (Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing), etc. and those routing protocol have some advantages and disadvantages. No routing protocol is efficient alone for all the scenarios of VANET, so it is required to review the existing protocols and find out a hybrid routing protocol for VANET for better connectivity and better communication.

Iris recognition with GLDM and Gabor feature using Neural Network Classifier

This research work presents a neural network (NN)architecture for a system of recognition of people through the biometric measurement of the human iris. In this system, a database of the human iris is processed by means of image processing methods. The coordinates of the center and radius of the iris are obtained and a cut of the area of interest is performed eliminating the noise around the iris. The inputs to the neural network architecture are the processed iris images and the output is the number of the person identified. This work proposes the hybridization of features like Gabor wavelet, grey level difference matrices (GLDM)and wavelet moments for extracting features from the images to train the neural network. The classification accuracy obtained with the hybrid approach on the images is98.6% with a 60:40 ratio of training and testing respectively.

Optimization of progressive die

Progressive die performs a series of operations in a single die at two or more workstations. There are given finish part at each stroke of press machine. Design and development of progressive die are one of the important phases in sheet metal manufacturing. The small error at any work station can induce heavy manufacturing losses through die failure, part geometry distortion, and production risk. This research deals with designing a progressive die, simulating the blanking. While mass production is made possible by tooling, the principal tools themselves cannot be mass produced. Tool making, and especially die making, is one of the few activities connected with the automotive and non-automotive industry in which there has not been a general substitution of machinery for basic skills. These tools are custom-made, one-at-a-time by skilled artisans who patiently and precisely machine, finish, and construct complicated devices. Only one die, or set of dies, is needed for the manufacture of many thousands, and sometimes millions, of automobile fenders or hoods of a given design. The one-of-a-kind characteristic of the tooling industry accounts for enormous differences in management and capitalization strategies, and the skills, machinery, and technology amenable to tool making and mass production.
