Smart medical package

The prime objective of this project is to create a smart package for medicines using the printed electronics technique which enables LED light to glow. Insulin’s that are used in houses might not be stored under proper storing temperature. So a temperature sensing circuit is printed in the insulin package with a LED light glowing for indicating the improper storing temperature. When the user handles this package, it provides information about the storage temperature of the medicine. Screen printing technology is employed for circuit printing and digital printing for package printing. Silver conductive ink is used for circuit printing and components pasting. SMD (Surface Mount Device) components are used in the circuit. A smart package is developed to deliver the information exactly, thus making packages smarter will enable the users to grab the information easily and can be used in an effective way.

Synthesis of nanostructured silver particles incorporated vein graphite for the anode material application in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries

Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries have emerged as the dominant energy storage source due to their higher capacity, energy density and excellent cyclability. Graphitic materials are commonly utilized as the anode material for lithium-ion batteries. Silver nanoparticles incorporated vein graphite (SVG) materials were prepared for Li Ion Battery (LIB) applications. The graphite sample was purified by acid leaching, followed by modifying the surface with HNO3. The silver graphite composite material was synthesized using AgNO3 as the precursor and trisodium citrate as the reducing agent. Phase analysis revealed that the silver nanoparticles have been successfully incorporated into the surface of the modified graphite after chemical reduction and mechanical agitation. Half-cell testing was carried out using CR 2032 coin cells with silver vein graphite composite as the active material and 1 M LiPF6 (EC: DMC; vol. 1:1) as the electrolyte at the National Center for Advanced Battery Research in NIFS. Galvanostatic charge-discharge study of the cell with silver vein graphite composite showed an initial charge-discharge Coulombic efficiency of 88.3% and a promising discharge capacity of 373 mAh g-1 in the voltage range of 0.002 - 1.5V at C/10 rate. Overall, the electrochemical performance of our developed nanostructured silver particles incorporated vein graphite anode shows a noticeable improvement of the reversible capacity, Coulombic efficiency and cycling behaviour.

Impact of a Pandemic on Indian Economy

In the following paper, we investigate the impact of a pandemic on the Indian Economy. The main focus of this study is to find out the economic impact in all the various sectors, which will help us in understanding the pandemic better, and how deep is the impact. This study considers various reports and concludes that despite the sluggish economic growth of India since 2019, the outbreak of COVID-19 has led to a further drop in the Economy. The nation has also been listed as among the top affected nations across the globe due to the pandemic. As a nation we’ve faced a lot of economic challenges due to pandemic breakout. It has majorly adverse sectors like food security, informal sector, agriculture, also aviation industry, shortage of labor for harvesting, PDS, and social security. This is a resultant of no proper infrastructural capacity to suffice a pandemic. Given our population, we have no resources to source functionality in the nation. Also, the health sector has also suffered a lot from the poor health facility, too costly checkups. The social life of the Indian people affected by the coronavirus includes the hike in Domestic Violence, Communalism, Fake news, and Religion.

Design of Culvert using Suitable Software

At the time when required, there is a water canal or the natural stream which intersects the road or the carriageway width, the big problem for us is to know how to keep this stream of water flows away from the road so that the roadway should not get affected by such situations. And the vehicles which pass near that stream in the flood situations, should also not get affected by this natural disaster. So, looking at this purpose, the Culverts are must be constructed across these intersections. A Culvert is nothing but a structure that is designed for passing the water which is overflowing through the streams. In this research work, we discussed aspects of culverts required at the different locations. And the designs are done both manually as well as by taking the help of the design software. The Standard codes of the design of Bridges and Roads are used in this research work for compiling the design of the culvert part. Different software’s are used for designing a culvert. From the results, for the design engineer, this research will offer to optimize saving of effort and also the time, by looking into effectiveness or accuracy.

Development of full custom realization of 2nd order decimator for arithmetic logic unit

This paper introduces Full custom and RTL implementation of a Decimated audio range low pass filter has been implemented on programmable logic devices (FPGA/PROM/CPLD) as well as layout compatible to 1.2-µm n-well CMOS process for arithmetic circuit. The ADC can be operated with an oversampling clock frequency of up to 512 KHz & down sampling clock frequency of up to 8 KHz. An existing clock divider circuit has been used which divide the oversampling clock frequency by decimated factor 64(second-order).
