Assessment on marital adjustment among women with respect to length of marital life, education and income level

Man as a social animal not only adapt to physical demands but he also adjusts to social pressures in the society. Fortunate is the individual who is adjusted and considers it so. Every individual, great or small, old or young, is comforted with the problems of adjustment. The problem of adjustment has been in existence on earth since the appearance of the human race. One of the main adjustment of an individual in their life is the marital adjustment. Both men and women are the basic elements of the family. Women are the key to sustainable development and quality of life in the family. Hence the present study mainly focused to explore the effect of length of the marital life, education, and income of women towards their marital adjustment.

Chromosomal Microarray Analysis as a first-tier test in autism spectrum disorder

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a brain-based, developmental condition. Children with ASD have communication difficulties, narrow interests, and repetitive behaviour. ASD is defined by a certain set of behaviors and is a “spectrum condition” that affects individuals differently and to varying degrees. The role of copy number variations with specific gene regulation and human diseases is already well documented. Chromosomal microarray analysis should be considered as a first-tier genetic diagnostic test for autism spectrum disorders because of its strong ability to detect chromosomal abnormalities. The Chromosomal Microarray Analysis (CMA) plays an important role to rule out the CNVs that can cause the Autism. The reported yield of an array is approx. 10-15%. Whereas the diagnostic yield of G banded karyotyping is only 3%.The diagnostic yield is found to be significantly higher when more complex abnormalities such as ID, Dysmorphism are also present along with ASD. In this study, it was explained about CMA for 100 postnatal cases of autism, as a first-tier test followed by G banded karyotyping.

Secured decentralized archiving healthcare data using blockchain with IoT

Blockchain technology has unprotected its immense adaptability in hot off the press years as a departure from the norm of super convenience store sectors. In which sought ways in incorporating its abilities directed toward their operations. While so far most of the focus has been on the financial service industry, several projects in other service-related areas such as healthcare start showing innumerable change. Numerous starting points for Blockchain technology in the healthcare industry are the focus of this paper.

A review on crime pattern detection using data mining

Data mining can be used to model crime detection problems. Crimes are a social nuisance and cost our society dearly in several ways. Any research that can help in solving crimes faster will pay for itself. About 10% of the criminals commit about 50% of the crimes. Here we look at the use of a clustering algorithm for a data mining approach to help detect the crimes patterns and speed up the process of solving the crime. We will look at k-means clustering with some enhancements to aid in the process of identification of crime patterns. We applied these techniques to real crime data from a sheriff’s office and validated our results. We also use a semi-supervised learning technique here for knowledge discovery from the criminal records and to help increase the predictive accuracy. We also developed a weighting scheme for attributes here to deal with limitations of various out of the box clustering tools and techniques. This easy to implement data mining framework works with the geospatial plot of crime and helps to improve the productivity of the detectives and other law enforcement officers. It can also be applied for counterterrorism for homeland security.

Hybrid wind–solar and battery power system for fluctuation free output

This manuscript presents the Hybrid renewable energy system using wind-solar and DC-DC CUK converter and three phase dc to ac converter with LC Filter. The wind and solar are environment-friendly and abundantly available energy sources in India. The solar and wind are intermittently available renewable energy resources, resulting into the generation of fluctuating output from the hybrid system, which will damage the electrical appliances designed to operate on the stable system. The modeling of the cuk dc-dc converter, three phase dc-ac converter and Inductor-Capacitor filters simulation is done using Matlab. The different blocks of the hybrid systems like wind and Solar model, cuk converter and Inductor-Capacitor filters are built separately before interconnecting them to form the complete DC hybrid system with the main grid. The inputs for the simulation are varying wind speed and changing irradiance. The simulation results show that the hybrid system possesses high reliability as compared to stand alone system. The addition of Cuk converter, three phase dc-ac converter and Inductor-Capacitor filter to the hybrid system greatly reduces the fluctuation in the output.

Survey on performance of different types of solar cells and solar inverters based on the efficiency

The solar power system consists of solar cells, converter, inverter, filter, switch mode power supply, load. In that solar cells and inverter plays a vital role in increasing the efficiency of the system. In practice, nearly all photovoltaic energy conversion uses semiconductor materials in the form of a p-n junction to potentially satisfy the requirements for photovoltaic energy conversion. High efficiency under wide input voltage range of the photovoltaic array is introduced by two new, components one for DC-DC converter and one inverter. In this paper, we will compare the types of solar cells and the inverter with their specifications.
