Studies on a new species of Genus Senga (Dollfus, 1934) Cestoda: Ptychobothridae, from freshwater fish Mastacembelus armatus at. Wakadi Dam, Dist. Parbhani (M.S.) India

The present discussion deals with the study of Genus Senga wakadii sp. nov. collected from freshwater fish Mastacembelus armatus at. Wakadi dam, Dist Parbhani (M.S.) India. The present cestode parasite’s character comes closer to the earlier known species of Genus Senga but also having some differentiating remarkable characters. Scolex is vessel shaped with two bothria, the inner portion of bothridia is convoluted, overlapped internally in the middle, and extends up to the posterior part of the scolex. Rostellar hooks are arranged in a circular manner, rostellar hooks are 30-35 in numbers. Mature segment two to three times broader than long, testes 55-65 in number, the cirrus is a thin tube, within the cirrus pouch. Vas deferens is a thin slightly curved. The vagina arises from the posterior side of the cirrus pouch as a short narrow tube. Evolution and growth of rural credit in India: A review

It has been aptly reiterated that “by providing finance, development follows” as finance is the lifeblood of economic development. Credit plays a significant role in the Indian economic system also. Indian economy is agriculture-based where agriculture is regarded as the cornerstone that provides a source of livelihood to its rural population. The credit is a synergist that even out the process to stimulate the farm and non-farm sector development including rural industrialization business and service segment of the economy. This paper attempts to review the evolution of rural credit in India and study its status and growth hitherto. Analyzing the background policy interventions in the Indian rural financial system will help in understanding the various phases of credit delivery patterns. The paper also throws light on whether people in rural areas are actually depending on formalized credit for meeting their financial needs or are still dependent upon informal sources.

Evolution of MTP act and ambiguous women’s rights in India: A critical review

In India, the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) act 1971 has evolved a lot, to an extent that it has brought much liberty to women with some interim to the basic sexual and reproductive health rights. In the latest MTP 2021 amendment, the legal time of MTP has been extended from 20 weeks to 24 weeks, which was the need of the hour. Even after this amendment, women's basic reproductive rights aren’t assured due to the trends and acceptance of society which again has a long way to go. The system runs more as a doctor-centric rather than a women's rights-based framework. In this article, we have discussed the detailed chronology of evolution, comparison of the original act of 1971 with the latest amendment 2021; Women's reproductive rights, a few modifications that can be done to further improve the objectives, people’s social awareness, and acceptance to MTP. Many more gaps are discussed thoroughly, and required modifications are suggested.

Detecting DDoS attack with AI/ML models

The enormous evolution of web-based applications on the public Internet has accomplished universal communication among billions of Smart IoT (Internet of Things) devices and such smart devices communicate with each other through the network. Simultaneously, cyber-attackers have gained enough knowledge on attacking the Internet and information on Secured systems. Distributed Denial of Services evolved as a serious threat for organizations, these attacks must be mitigated immediately for preventing damages to the business. In Information and Cloud Security, DDoS attack is one of the main concerning successful attack procedures. Since DDoS attack can deny and disturb the service of one or more IoT nodes simultaneously, which causes the loss of data for any company. In other words, this will be a serious threat to the organization. ML models are implemented for resolving various Cybersecurity related problems such as Malware detections, spam mails, vulnerabilities in software, detection of an anomaly, biometric and facial recognition, and many other areas. It is essential to simulate the discrete event DDoS attack model to evaluate the efficiency of the detection model for in-house study on DDoS attacks and preventions. This paper proposes a model to analyze the impact of DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service). The implemented model was developed using Mininet and POX controller on open source. The resultant network traffic is generated as the dataset. The values of the dataset were compared and plotted with various Machine learning methods for the prediction of DDoS attacks.

Effect of positive self talk training on competitive anxiety: an intervention study on male and female

This study was aimed to examine the effect of positive self-talk training on the competitive anxiety of anxious athletes. Methods: Participants were 52 team sports players (n=26 females and n=26 males), aged 18-23 years, randomly assigned into the experimental group (13 males and 13 females) and control group (13 males and 13 females). The experimental group received positive self-talk training for 30 days and the control was without any type of treatment. The dependent variables (competitive anxiety, general fear of failure) were assessed before and after the intervention. It was expected that positive self-talk reduces competitive anxiety, general fear of failure and increases self-confidence. Results: As expected, positive self-talk training decreased the level of competitive anxiety and general fear of failure and increased the self-confidence of the experimental group. Conclusion: the present study provides preliminary evidence that positive self-talk training for a period of 1 month can be used as an effective tool to reduce competitive anxiety and general fear of failure and enhance self-confidence.
